right ive been trying to connect to xbox live with tesco broadband i keep getting dns errors

I put in the dns and it still says i got dns errors but i know they are right because i look on many sites an they all gave me the same dns settings to put in

Ive tried getting a router an the one i got just didnt work with tesco i really need some help from people who have connected to xbox live with tesco broadband an tell me what they did to make it work tell me what router they got because i dont want to have to go through the hasstle to cancel an change isp any help would be great thanks

Phone tescos up, ask them what the deal is, but with my isp (BT) i had to install the modem to the pc (obviously) then put usb into pc, then ethernet from xbox to modem, or it just wouldnt work at all.
