Help Needed Please

I have a problem with my extreme based XBOX 360.(Hitachi Drive and Maximus Garyopa Extrm V 2_3 Rev 2)
It will not play certain original games.
The titles i am having trouble with are Gears of War (i get a black screen and stuttering audio after initial load screen)
Star wars Lego 2 (get the start up screen) but won't load the game.
Fight night 3 (i get the start up screen) but won't load the game.

I also have trouble with tomb raider legend and rainbow 6 las vegas (Corrupted Graphics).

I have Sonic the Hedgehog (strangely this seems to have no problem at all).
I also have a backup copy of my original Pro evo soccer 6 game and this works fine also although at times you can see minor GFX corruption ( but very rare).

Could this be a possible DVD drive or GFX chip problem?

I have no idea why this is happening and your help would be greatly appreciated.....

hey just want to ask !!
you are useding TV or HDTV ?
and if you r useding HDTV or computer....
i think you are !!
you will need to lower your seting (i think )
ask or look up in forums search !!

Hi,
Thanks for your reply....

I am not using HDTV....

I have my 360 hooked up to a Pioneer 502mxe which is Pioneers older type 50" Plasma.
This is connected from my amplifier using SVIDEO in the monitor out connection.My 360 is also connected to my amplifier via component video and audio.
My amplifier is a THX certifed Pioneer VSX AX2AV.

I have an XBOX1 hooked up exactly the same way and have no trouble with that.....
I have only two options for console settings (Pal 50 or 60) and have tried both.

I do not have an XBOX 360 HDTV cable i have the one without the switch on to change to HDTV...
Could this be the problem..?

I am at a loss as to why i am having problems with playing some games and the graphics corruption in other games yet my sonic the hedgehog game works fine.....

Any ideas....?
