Noisy Disk Spinning...

hiya folks, my box is flashed with 5.2 i believe and sometimes, mainly at the start or when exiting a game, the game goes crazy in the drive and spins all over the place making a nasty "swooshing" noise. I was aware that the firmware flashes make the disks run at different speed than normal, but is anyone else experiencing this?

I have the toshiba drive with 5.2c flashed.  Sometimes mine makes this terrible grinding sound when spinning up a disk.  I just hope its not doing damage to the drive.

So modding your xbox is damaging your disks hahah! a contradiction interms if your a so callled BACKUP player

Not really, since it will only damage your backups, of which you can make a new copy.
