Xbox360 Dvd Drive In External Case

Is it possible to purchase an external case origionally made for a PC dvd drive which will power the xbox360 DVD drive? i.e. The power plug will plug into the xbox360 DVD drive socket? or is it simple to modify the power plug of one of these cases to fit the 360 socket?
