Xfps 360 Keyboard And Mouse
« on: January 04, 2007, 06:57:00 AM »

Hi guys, I had a XFPS 360 preordered and recieved it tuesday morning. However its now thursday and im still very disappointed with it. out of 6 mice i already had could only get 1 to work excellently with it however 2 older ps2 ball mice did work. So i bought a new mouse especially for the XFPS. (bought logitech and it didn't work, so returned for equivilent microsoft mouse and that works)

How ever, in testing with Rainbow Six Vegas the mouse operates very poorly and very unresponsive, Call of Duty 3 the mouse operated well but still far from what you'd get from your PC using a mouse. and Gears of War it worked successfully but with nothing to compare to on another system (PC) its hard to tell how well.

IMO dont buy one of these if your hoping to use it successfully with any game and become a FPS king on console cos it just wont happen. If you are a fan of only 1 FPS game then try to find if it works well first. But i'd have to say wait maybe 6 months, now its possible todo others will improve it and microsoft might even make official kits.

Hi fcukw and thanks for the mini review I was interested in one of these but your review has made me think twice, I had the frag thing (cant remember the exact name) for the xbox1 and found it ot be a little dodgy as well, I've also read that you can use a Playstation2 compatible steering wheel, so I was wondering if it would be possible to use the DFP wheel or the new G25 wheel or even the momo force (red) if so this would it would make it a lot more interesting for driving games Forza 2 etc.

the official MS racing wheel designed specifically with forza 2 in mind will pwn all other wheels all over the place.

it's amazing, basically.
