Is there a connector available that can modified, or can I buy a connector somewhere that allows me to connect my own SATA drive to the xbox360 special SATA connector ?

I just want to know where to buy, or how to make a connector that fits the ''SATA'' connector on the xbox360.

The DVD drive uses a standard SATA cable, if your wanting a SATA connecter to conenct your own hard drive to the 360 then it won't work, but if you want to connect the hard drive to a PC then there is plenty of connectivity kits about.

I'm pretty sure he wants the external connector that the MS HDD uses to connect to the system (SATA + power in one), presumably so that he can make his own hard drive dock or something.

This is exactely what I am trying to do, I want to make an adapter so that I can connect my own HD to thexbox360.
I know that it is not yet possible to just connect any HD to the 360, but this will be for testing purposes.
(it is allready possible to clone your xbox360 HD, and modify the new hd so that it 'matches' the 360 drive, and the 360 recognises it)
