Safe To Move The 360 While There Isnt A Disk In Drive?
« on: January 03, 2007, 02:23:00 PM »

I have always wondered about this, is it safe to move when theres no disk in drive but a hard drive is attached? I mean wouldnt movement cause the hard drive platters to scratch? I only wish the move it horizontally so I can move it closer to my tv. (just like "slide over") so yeah lol

I have not had any problems while the 360 has been on and moving it without a disk in it.

The hd is a laptop hard drive. It will not scratch without violent shaking. I wouldn't "slide" the console. Just lift it like an inch and move it. Sliding things with rubber feet may cause them to jump or wobble lol  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
