Ok so the box i heatguned, reapplied goo, added fan on gpu.. lasted for a good 3 months.. but has now... sadly... *sob* i cant say it...

anywayz got a permium just yesterday.. made sure manufacture date was september 06 (hopin that later ones might be less prone to truble) and anywayz... alls fine xcept one little thing which is annoying me slightly.
The fans make this low yet highish pitched sound which by no means is unacceptable... the only thing that DOES annoy me and concerns me a little is the fact that once i power down the xbox... the fans stop.. with a little 1 second grind at the end. Maybe a wire is passing close by or something? Has anyone had a smiliar issue please? im obviously NOT opening the damn thing this time.. actually managed to get a warranty locally.
