I have been using the Verbatim dual layer printable DVD's, an NEC ND2500A DVD writer flashed with different firmware to enable dual layer writing and the latest version of clone that I have actually purchased, but I am getting unsatisfactory successful burn rates
About 1 in 4 of the backups I try to burn completes successfully
Please can you tell me where I am going wrong?
Do I need a different firmware? do I need a completely new DVD writer as this one is notoriously bad? Have I got a bad batch of discs? what do I need to do? I am desperate to play Lost Planet and only have about 3 discs left and it will be impossible for me to get hold of some more during Christmas time
If it turns out I do need a new burner what is currently the best one to buy and use for X360 backups and where can I get hold of it in the UK (links appreciated)
As you can understand I want to sort this out as soon as possible and all comments are appreciated
