Hello,

My console has cought the 3 lights of death, with error 110 to be exact.

I have been trying the heatgun method, and everytime I try the heatgun it seems to work for the first startup, then it freezes.  I get the 3 lights again.  It always does this, but why does it work always on the first shot after im done heating up the board.

I also noticed that before I got the 3 lights of death, I brought my console over to my cousins house and hooked itup.  It started freezing because the tv was auto ajusting the image while I was playing a game.

I think, that in error 110 the problem is, when you bring over your console to someone elses house and you switch between HDTV and normal TV, it causes what information is in the ram to get confused causing the console to lockup.

Could that be a case?  If so, is their anyway to fully reset the console to factory settings without going to the dashboard. (like on the back of somethings their is a little hole that you push and it resets everything, could you do something like this on the motherboard to reset everything?)

Anyways, this is just and idea and I would like feedback on things to try as I am willing to try almost anything to bring the console back to life.
