Ms25 Open Tray On Originals

Does anyone know why backups seem to be booting okay, but my originals and original dvds are giving me an open tray error ?  I have a MS25 with 3.3 firmware.

Shouldn't it be the other way around and would a laser adjustment help ???

Try the Xtreme firmware 5.1.

Would recommend this first, instead of starting to play with the laser.
