Wireless Controller Help
« on: December 25, 2006, 11:26:00 AM »

I’ve had my Xbox for about 6 month now and about a month ago I had that no video but audio problem, long story short no one herd of it, but I sent it to some guy on eBay who fixed it and. Although now the little wireless controller button next to the memory card slots doesn’t work. The controller I used before worked, but now I have my bother home for the holydays and he brought his controls up and we can’t get them to work because of that button.  What can I do to get these wireless controls to work with my Xbox?

What I would to is pick up a play and charge cable in order to sink the controller with the 360. If all else fails, contact MS support and see what they have to say about it.

open up the controller and push the button back into position and resolder the connections... that is one possibility

It's the button on the console, but the same thing should work.

NoFace I don’t’ really understand what your suggesting.

And pimp the button on the controller works fine, I hit it and both the non working controllers give the spinning thing. What’s broken is the button on the Xbox that is made to do the same thing.

Although when I hit that little button on my wireless controller that works it came with the box spinny search light and then back to right signal for the Xbox.

Its because if the controller can't find a new Xbox to pair with it just keeps it's old setting. What NoFace was saying is if you buy a play and charge kit and connect it between your console and controller it should sync the two up.
