Looks good. slight delay - but better than aiming with a joypad.

one questiont ho - they use the wired 360 controller to set it up.... will it work with a wireless controller + change & play wire/kit??

$80 is about £45 GBP - basicallythe cost of one game - i think its worth it.

Looks like a good quality product but I never understand why people want to use keyboard and mouse over a 360 controlller. Yes aiming is a bit more accurate but apart from that its just harder to control. Thats just my opinion though. Nice work.

Because the people who use a mouse and kayboard will argue its a heck of alot easier to control.

Personally, I can do a heck of a lot more at once, and aim many seconds faster and more precisely using a KB/mouse combo... although i do love the 360 controller. With my PC being kinda crap now, it would be nice to play 360 games witha  kb/mouse every now and then

keyboard and mouse is better than a controller because u can turn 180 degrees in a milisecond and still be accurate when you shoot. reflex shots are also very easy with a keyboard and mouse because u can just flick the mouse and click really fast.  in my 3-ish years of playing halo and halo 2 and counter-strike on the xbox, i probably only had a few flick shots with the controller.  in counter-strike on the computer, i get flick shots all the time.  there is a learning curve to both the controller and the mouse + keyboard, but for me the keyboard is a lot easier to get kills with.  and no, i do not hate consoles like 80% of all pc gamers, and vice versa.

This is going to be cool and not cool at the same time. This will give people with this setup a unfair advantage if you ask me. But whatever i will still be slayin fools with my regular controller because I AM THAT GOOD HHHHOOOOYYYYAAAAAAA biggrin.gif  jester.gif  biggrin.gif  smile.gif

Meh it looks like it's quite sluggish  sad.gif

I will probably buy it to use an arcade controller of the arcade games but not for the KB/M support

If the reaction times were really fast I surely would pick one up.  Hopefully we can have some more insight soon.

After reading all these other people's replies I was thinking nobody was seeing what I saw..

That thing is so slow guys.  Watch it again, but this time, focus on the mouse, and just pay attention to when he moves the mouse and what happens on screen.  It's taking like a half a second for anything to happen.  That is unplayable.  You wonder why he's not really doing anything on screen?

Also, you realize why the sensitivity is turned down all the way?  It's to try and hide the slowdown effect.  You bet your ass if you were to put the sensitivity up, then just set the mouse in one spot and give it a quick tap, it'd take a half second for your screen to move.

Ok, now that i've seen recorded from a TV,  I'd rather see Picture-in-picture, one of the mouse in the corner, and the backround be though a capture card!

EdgeFX Lets Console Gamers Frag Away with a Mouse

SplitFish's new EdgeFX mouse was designed to make your PlayStation 2's Dual Shock controller obsolete. It has the controller's four face buttons etched onto it's side and also comes with a secondary controller that contains the Dual Shock's analog and directional pads. The $70 combo is out this week, but it only works with the PS2, though SplitFish promises PS3 and Xbox versions are in the works. We think it's a better alternative to XCM's offering. – Louis Ramirez

you realize there are sensitivty settings for you in your xbox 360 profile screens.. most peoples are probably on medium as they dont even know they are there.

Those settings may be a factor as well.

i had Max Shooter for the original xbox to play halo 2 with. while it worked good, it was never perfect. no matter what config setting i changed or anything else. there were times i had an advantage with kb/mouse and there were times people with the control had the advantage. it won't be as one sided as you think, not everyone with a kb and mouse is going to slaughter people without. although, when halo 2 comes out for vista, if it utilizes live anywhere, that will be an interesting situation.

I didnt buy a console so I could buy more stuff and set it up like a pc.  No offense to people who love this idea, but I will use my pc for pc-like gaming.
