Zoozen Protector: Prevent your Discs from Scratching

If this works I would get it.. I done had GRAW crack right in the middle.. I have never moved my console. I'm a video game collecter, still got my regular nintendo with Zelda gold cartridge with instruction booklet, and box. I take 100% care of my stuff.. all I did was play the hell out of GRAW. Play for about 15 hours a day, and then it would boot me out of certain maps, tell the game wouldn't read no more. I checked the disc and to my surprise it was cracked in the middle... Also right now, my friend is experiencing some problems with scratch disc. All his disc are scratching real bad in one spot on differnt disc.. So this product might help.

Time for an exchange at your store or Walmart for having a defective disc. That's rediculous. There is nothing that game system can do to crack the disc unless the disc was defective to begin with.

i take great care of my stuff and just today my fifa 2007 was unreadable at a point and i looked at the disc and it was all scratched up in circular patterns, at different distances from the center (from hitting the laser that moves).  It's been in my xbox since i got it a week ago, never took it out, played it probably 10 or so hours, the xbox hasn't moved from my entertainment center..... and the fucker is scratched.  Then i looked at all my other games and most of them have the same scratches.

So for those of you who think it's a responsibility issue you're wrong.  the console scratches discs so this is a great thing.

also.... it says it's 8 bucks on x-s front page but 14 at the place they link the preorder to.
what's up with that.

I've never moved my console while it's on but every game I have has the same tiny scratch on it thanks to this shitty drive. It's not enough to make any of them unplayable, but it does cause the occasional dirty disc error.

It's a very fine scratch, but it's a very consistent one on every disc, which means it's definitely the console.

And yes, mine is horizontal, level, and never moved.

Interesting, do you have a speaker system located near your console? Perhaps the bass is causing the disc to move around a bit, just a thought...

MS should have come up with this solution and shipped it out to everyone that was having issues (well everyone actually).

For those of you saying "just dont touch the console whilst DVD is spinning" thats all very well if its just you that has access to it. But what about those people with young kids or even pets that may bump the console whilst in use or perhaps even cause it to fall from its vertical position. Kids always enjoy touching expensive toys... especially if they have pretty lights. Personally I would never put the 360 in a vertical position... thats just asking for trouble I think.

Force pushing the disc tray closed?  Umm no thanks, and plus if your 360 ever died how would you get them out, won't M$ freak out if they found those in there and say you aren't under warranty to repair cause of that.

And what is the blowing about?

pushing your tray closed will not hurt it.. ive pushed several thousand system trays closed as a video game repairman..and the blowing, it is a balloon that poofs up then the tabs get stuck to the top when it gets a big enough balloon

This thing will be great for people who want to put 360's in their car and maybe as a "just in case" for the home user.

This is a great product, I can finally carry my 360 around the room while playing on XBL and not have to worry about buying a new game disc the next day - can't tell you how many times that has happened!

But seriously, to all those claiming scratches with a horizontal non-moved 360, that is strange...

My 360 sits horizontal, level and never moved. It has scratched 6 copies of NFS carbon. The disc spins so fast that it begins to wobble and hit the laser. I ordered some foam pads from a replacement Thomson. I wasted so many dvdr-dl's before realizing the problem since it kept giving me DDE. So this product is not only for people who move their console, I never move my console and my discs get scractched.

Easy for us to say, but the world is full of idiots.
You never know, your little brother, son, nephew, or guber friend might mess with your 360 while it's playing a game.

I'm definately buying one of these....

I guess that's relative. $1.40 per disc is what I am paying right now. And $1.40 to keep an original in a safe place and play using a backup copy makes a lot of economic sense to me... The best part, just like dvd-r's, these things will just keep getting cheaper and cheaper.

I remember paying $100 for 20 dvd-r's back in the day, so this is nothing!
