Box freezes during gameplay called tech support and went through all the troubleshooting steps and it still freeze's and has been freezing since the first day I bought it which was first of April 06.

When I say freezing I mean the screen pause's and the box continues to run with no error codes lights or anything and will only respond to the power button. It can't be heat because it will freeze after 2mins of gameplay.

Doesn't freeze on
Blazing Angels
Over G

I think we can all agree that the graphics are not great on Blazing Angels and Over G so that might be the reason it doesn't freeze on them


I've tried searching with no luck. Got any suggestions on how to fix it? MS wants $130 and I told the Gihad ****** on the other end of the line that I would through the P.O.S. out in the street before I would pay that.
I'm not afraid to take it apart and work on it.

I had similar problems then I got my stuff reflashed and did a new update and all was well....But....This may just be coindence...sp?

I'm pulling the case tomorrow and doing the 12v fan mod, the Artic Silver mod, and upgrading the heat sinks. Then if that doesn't help it's going under the knife. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/muhaha.gif)
It seems it does it less when the Intercooler 360 is running. I guess it could get hot enough to shut down it 2-3mins of gameplay (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
