Which Dvd Drive Will I Get?

Hello,

I bought my Xbox 360 (www.newegg.com free 3 day shipping + no tax!) and was wondering if the odds of getting a Samsung DVD drive is better then 50/50. I would prefer to have this since I heard they are quieter.

I bought one at the end of Nov at walmart and the mfg date was June 06 and it had a samsung drive, Theres still some older ones out there.

i am wondering the same thing, my disk drive keeps telling me my games are dirty and it just stops spinning(you can hear it stop). so i called M$ for a repair, and i will be getting a box tomm and send it back. i am curious to see if i get the better drive. i know i have the older version since it was mfr in 12/2005, but how will i know what drive i will have now?
