0102 Error Fixed. Now Overheating?
« on: December 18, 2006, 08:51:00 PM »

I recently did the "hot air gun fix" on my friends 360 in order to fix the 0102 error. The video on YouTube (by Modfreakz) said to let it cool for about 25-30 minutes, and we did so. However, we're still getting the overheating error (2 red lights). It's been about 5 days, and he's still getting these red lights... it just doesn't make any sense to me, because there's no way it could still be overheating.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) What happens is... when we turn it on, the fan starts going really fast, then stops. Could this be a damaged fan problem? Or is it only speeding up because it thinks the console is overheating?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

Dan

Double check the 8 black screws, If these arent tight, you get two red lights.
