Yes, the case always says this. They don't say "super ws" but they report the film's AR (aspect ratio) on the back of every case.
Even regular dvd's will 90% of the time have a wider AR than 16:9. The person who says it's dependant on the film it was shot with is correct. After watching many 1,000's of dvd's in the last 5 years on a 16:9 TV, I'm used to it.
Sure I would still prefer 16:9 films, but I'm used to it.
The only gripe I kind of have is how most HD movies on my HD television programming actually are in 16:9. The reason for this is that the HD tv channels will either zoom or stretch the image to fit 16:9 perfectly. I prefer this over the real AR of the film because A) there's no artifacting, and (IMG:
style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) you still get like 90-95% of the picture.
Oh well.
