Wireless Controller Problem...maybe Console Problem
« on: December 14, 2006, 07:04:00 AM »

So I bought my 360 (premium version) about 2 weeks ago, everything worked great...until about 3 days ago the wireless controllers (bought another one and quick charge kit and extra battery) stopped working, they turn on flash the green lights in all four sectors but will not connect, I tried syncing the controllers back to the 360 as advised for most other controller problems, didn't work.

Another thing I noticed is that the ring of light no longer lights up, that includes all four sectors and the power indicator in the center.  Video and Audio both work, the dashboard loads, and even connects to xbox live, but neither controller will connect.  I also tried using the play and charge kit, which I thought might connect directly into the xbox rather than using wireless, but that didn't work either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

thanks.

I am also experiencing the same problem with my wireless controller. The RING OF LIGHT won't lit up at all. I have also noticed that the left part of the controller heats up, just below the analog stick. I hope there is a solution to this... otherwise I am better off buying a wired cotroller...
