I just got my second game for 360, gears of war. Been playing it for about a hour yesterday and the screen started to flicker and fuzz, then a double split screen image came up.. I turned it off to let it cool and started playing for like 20min and its started to do it again! Iv had 4 hour game sessions on FEAR with no problems but not its just started doing this! Is my 360 nackard and it will just get worse? Im under warrenty so i could take it back but all my saves are on there! What shall i do?

If I were you I'd defo take it back - you should be able to ask them to just swap the actual console and be able to keep the pad / HD / cables etc. If they won't do that you should be able to pick up a cheap mem card off ebay, back up return the stuff to your new HD then resell the mem card on ebay for a relatively small loss.

lol taken it back, got a new one.. Iv never had a problem with any console ever till now.. and iv had everything except PS2 of cause!

Got a new xbox.... Its happened again.. exactly the same.. but this time at my mates house! Hes a PS fan and i was showing him how amazing the 360 is with gears of war and he was amazed.. Until if fragged. Screen fuzzed out then went blank. rebooted it and just fuzz.. im getting rid of my 360 and getting a ps3.

Ok.. Iv let it cool. Turned it back on and iv just had a good hour of online play... with no probs. Is it just going to screw up again tho? Should i take it back??

Have you changed the game at all??? It may be the game causing the issue. Get a replacement GOW.

where is it when your doing it? if you have it laying on a carpet or in a little entertainment center this could be causing it to overheat. try getting a nyko intercooler, that thing cooled mine down quite a bit.

need to keep it in a cool place no confined spaces and no carpet..and also have you gotten the gears of war update??that fixes tons of freezing problems

did u get the live update for GOW> this tends to update alot of freezing/graphics glitches in game.
