All 4 Controller Ports Stop Working Original Xbox

I was thinking that replacing the motherboard would be the solution for tihs. All 4 ports just stopped working in the middle of a game. Is there another solution to this issue ?

Yes there is a solution. It's called post this in the Xbox forums and not the 360 forums.
