Xbox 360 External Hard Drive

I formattted a 40GB External hard drive with FAT32 using Partition magic. My computer recognizes it but the Xbox 360 keeps it greyed out.

I searched but could not find anything, sorry if its a dupe.

ok, just to make sure: how are you connecting the drive? is it just a standard usb->ide converter?

from what you have said, it should work. please provide as many details as possible
