360 Update Crashed My Machine - My Fix Of It..
« on: December 03, 2006, 03:47:00 PM »

A few days ago my x-box 360 got an update which seemed to be fatal..When starting playing any game the screen froze and everyting stopped..sometimes the machine froze even at startup other times at gamestart..
Now and then I got the three red hardwarefail indicators (the green ring turned red..)

Well..I thought this would be another story of "how long did your machine take to be fixed in Germany"..

luckily not..(not to sure yet though..(IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

My Fix :
I did a Initial Setup in the system meny and there it was...not ANY glitches after that..
Though I should share it for you others to try...
Note that my Xbox never was difficult to reboot as it always responded to on/off on the remote...

Good luck !

You can do a Initial Setup with the game control..Chose System in the main "meny" ..(start without a disk in the tray)

Mine's doing the same friggin thing, with or without the HDD.  I'm gonna try a couple of other things, but nothing to this point has halted the problem.
