Xbox 360 Freezes When The Bottom Half Of Case Is Attache...?

I disassembled my box 360 to use the heat gun trick (3 red light fix)  and to apply thermal compound to my cpu and gpu. Then I did the 12v mod for both fans and added a cpu fan on the heat sink. Xbox 360 is very cool now. I can play for hours with just the top case piece on.  But as soon as I put on the bottom case, my xbox 360 will play for 10-15 mins and freeze. One time is caused the three red lights again. So I removed the bottom and have been playing great ever since. But I would like to put the bottom case on someday. Anyone know why this is happening? All my screws are tight. So that is ruled out. Dunno  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
