Fixing 360 From Ebay
« on: November 28, 2006, 12:09:00 AM »

anybody have any luck getting a 360 from ebay ( "the classix 3 red light error" ones) and fixing them?

im looking at one to just  practice my modding before i do it on mine.

but who knows maybe i might be able to fix it. seems like its a heat issue or something. i have some artic silver 5 from previous cpu swaps from my computer.

ive got some good ideas. i want to try out my computer case modding skills on the xbox 360. there are some great artist on xbox-scene, u guys inspired me to try it out. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

let me know if any of u guys have had any luck or should i not get scammed into getting one of these ebay ones.

There's some good threads on xboxhacker.net in the hardware section. I'm sure there's some good ones here to.

Just be careful about the DVD drives cause you can't seem to swap them now or something with the fall update.

It's a shame cause the Xbox 1 was so easy to fix compared to the 360.

yeah even though alot on ebay are broken they still sell for alot of money 150-200 usually, for just the console, thats insane

i dunno i might reconsider, cause i wouldnt spend that much on something thats broken.

let me know if any buddy has a broken console, one that they would be willing to sell me for cheap
