Changed Laser With Some Success

changed out the laser in my hitachi drive... which was getting an unplayable disc error... now all but 360 games work originals or backups...

anyone have any input?

That is the way a system acts if you just swap drives and don't change the key. But you just changed the laser and you made it sound like you have flashed the FW, so I have no clue.

first things first I would like to say that I am ecstatic..........  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
for some reason I decided to check the ohms of the laser... it was set to like 4.6k so I lowered it to about 3.4 and now it works like a charm... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)   GOW here I come baby
