Three Red Light Or Ring Of Death

I just got an xbox 360 yesterday. Today I turned on and I got the 3 lights or ring of the death. I unplugged the power supply and plugged back and the xbox booted up fine and it's working fine. I checked the manufactured day and it's October 2005. Since is only 2 days old I can exchange it at the store. My question is should I exchange it and try to get one manufactured this year?

i'd wait til ur xbox360 really starts acting up...i get the red lights everytime my power goes out...so wait a lil bit and see wut happens

so is it right outof the box, with the ring of death? if so done hesitate to take it back, get an '06 its more reliable then the '05's.
