Does that mean that XBOX will recognize and utilize 137 GB and the rest of the space in 160 GB hard drive will go unused?

Yep,you are totally correct there wink.gif .

Whatever size HDD you put in the Xbox,it can only use up to 137 GB.

I've put a 120 GB HDD in my Xbox, which leaves a total of 114 GB for game backups, software, movies
and other stuff. You can put a 160 GB or larger HDD in your Xbox, but that's a waste of money since
you can't use the remaining space.

So a 120 GB HDD is currently the best solution if you want a large storage (and it's cheaper as well) ,but it's up to you smile.gif .
