Xtreme Fw V4.2 Now I Can`t Flash Back Backup.bin
« on: November 23, 2006, 12:19:00 AM »

okay after 2 days of struggle i manage to reflash my bricked TS-H943 drive with backup.bin then the box did read orginal 360games exxelent...

Then flashed the drive again but this time with xtrem40a.bin with my key in it....
Did go 100% good...

Tryed then to start up my orginal game again, DID not work *grrrr* did look over the xtrem40a.bin and my backup.bin in Hexeditor, hmm same keys in both bin files....

Did also follow the Tutorial written by Xtream Team how to reflash the drive after sucessfully flashed the drive with V4 bin file, did all that i says but can`t still flash this drive...Have tryed out all now...

Have put in enable0800 disk 10 seconds then eject, run mtkflash but the drive don`t start to flash  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)    What to do????....

When i did burn this Enable0800 disk i use Nero and one DVD+R...

So i hoping on some sulotion so i can flash my drive back to orginal state again...

Hopy you guys have time to help me out here.....

Hey Verba, the enable0800 disc should be on a DVD+R DL(not just a DVD+R). I don't know why they don't add that in the readme file. After inserting that, I just leave it in and you should be able to flash.

To make your xtreme bin file with key in it: put orig.bin in the same folder as all the xtreme files. I assume you want the xtreme42a.bin? So then you would double click on "Make x42a.bin Report as MS25.pif "(This is from the Xtreme 4.2 Update release). It will then create x42a.bin and this is what you flash the drive with by running "MTKFLASH w /m x42a.bin" in DOS.
