If MS didnt change how the connector is wired and it is the standard laptop CD/DVD drive connector im thinking of, an adapter similar to this might be an easy way to turn that hd dvd drive into a cheap internal hd dvd drive for a PC

What about using one of these:
Ebay Item number: 300046991979
(the pin adaptor)
Then also use one of these:
Ebay Item number: 230050250760
(IDE to SATA)
?

How much stress does  this put on the computer? It was said that the HDDVD drive is the 2nd thing to near push the 360 to its limits, 2nd to only gears of war. I would like to know what type of computer you need for this to work well enough

Someone already asked this but there's still no answer ---

*** What kind of PC specs would you need (actual specs or guestimated specs)??? If I can run 720p/1080i .ts files and WMV HD movies 100% fine (stream to my 360 fine too!) will I be able to probably play HD-DVD fine?

This may sound absolutely stupid, but can the HD-DVD drive see any of the 360 games?
