Alright I would consider myself a fairly avid and knowledgeable modder so heres my problem. My friend bought a 360 premium back in February and it now gets the three red flashing LEDS. He knows I have an extra xbox and wants me to trade my modded xbox with stock 10 gighdd and three games and a couple of movies for the 360 and two wireless controllers all hookups, but it has the three leds. Do you guys anyone who had the three red leds is it easy to fix? If I can fix it it would be well worth it.

The controllers alone retail for $50.00 each. If you parted out the working parts of the console you could get more than the xbox is worth. With people spreading all the information and misinformation about how to repair the 360, I doubt you'll be able to wade through it enough to fix it, unless you have quite a bit of experience with troubleshooting and repairing hardware. Otherwise, pm me and I'll give you an offer for the 360.

Could also be the power supply. Plug it straight into the wall, as it has it's own "built-in surge protector".

well thats what I was thinking about with the 2 wireless controllers being 50 each but I think I can fix it. I may ask to get the 360 for a day or two before I give him the xbox so I can see if I can fix it or not.

Well that's cool but if you tell him you will trade he'll know you fixed it and probably will want it back.

He already said That I probably will fix it and besides he likes the idea if a modded xbox instead.I think I will go for it.
