Hard Drive Issue

ok, so I copped out and bought a 360 cuz I was tired of waiting for the ps3...just so have, my boy gave me a gang of old xbox games and a few new ones like MK:ARMAGEDDON

I wanna play the games and crap, but it says I need the xbox 360 hard drive...however I saw something while searching for a solution thay u can use a external usb or sata drive.. so I was wondering how do I do the firmware or w/e to get it to work as a hard drive to save games and let me play old xbox games too...

I cant even get on XBL cuz I dont have a hard drive..




yeah, I just wanna know how to use my own usb 2.0 or sata hard drive as the same way the xbobx 360 official hard drive will functio..

you need the official 360 hard drive to play xbox 1 games.  there is no other way aroud it.

but you dont need a HD to get on live - you can also use a memory card.
