I don't believe it simply because of the fact that MS wouldn't release/announce a new product in Korea first.  Every product MS has ever made has debuted in the US... why start with an X360 drive?  The install base in Korea must pale in comparison to the US.

A completely blue xbox comes to mind....... never released in the US as I remember.

maybe if you make an image of the 100GB drive that is coming out, then put that image on another 100GB HDD you can use it in the system.

I can't see ever needing more than 20gb- especially since MS will probably charge $120 for this 100GB version, 'cause M$ along with retail stores love to overprice hard drives for some reason...

My 20 gig drive is full I have just over 1 gig of space left on the drive.  I am only a casual user.

*sigh*

Regarding larger hard drives, Peter Moore said the following, "it's something we're looking at"....

Also, I do remember OXM's Rumor Mole saying that he's hearing hints of an HDMI enabled, 250 gig HDD, internal HD-DVD drive, DVR function with DirectV content, black Xbox360 in the works....

Uh, great constructive response...thanks for contributing to the scene...

Anyways, obviously a larger hard drive is not for everyone, but there is definitely a good market for those who want to store more on their 360.  Also, as mentioned earlier, we don't quite know what the future will hold as far as opportunities to fill up the hard drive.  And MS makes much better gains on accessories, so it would be in their best interest to produce more drives.  However, it will be interesting to see how they deal with the data on current drives for those that wish to upgrade.

I wish MS and Sony would have used 3.5" drives in their next gen consoles.  I know 2.5" drives are quieter, use less energy, and produce less heat, but the current capacity max is 200GB and that will cost you $200+.

Sounds like the PSX that was released in Japan.  Would be really cool to see it happen.

I think it is real, if you look closely at the picture (in all the Korean text) close to the bottom where they list HD-DVD, right underneath that you can see 256. That is for the 256mb memory card. Right underneath that though, you can see the number 10. It's cut off by the dudes head, but I think it says 100gb. Not only that, if you analyze the grain in the image, its uniform all over, even where 100GB is printed on the top of the HDD. Meaning if it was Photoshopped, it was done before the picture was taken...

You're right. I can read a little Korean, and PHONETICALLY (Koreans use a lot of English words, but written in their alphabet) it says:

10........ HA-DEU DEU-RA-I-BEU (hard drive)

The next line, I translated using Google:

CHUL-SI (come into market) GA-GYEOK (price): MI-JEONG (suspense) ...ha ha ha..."suspense" is the literal translation

What i was thinking and would be cool if ms came out with an bigger hard drive that would hook to the 360 and your 20GB would piggy back into that one that way you can keep all your stuff thats on the 20GB

Your 20gig is full becaus you want to keep every useless download from the market place. Delete all those dmos that you do not play and there is no need to keep video content that you can simply download to your PC.

Doesn't neccessarily have to be full because of demos and trailers.. I have only one thing for you to read.. "Final Fantasy XI Online for 360"... That beast alone takes up 5GB + space on its own.. So quit yapping about people having too much junk as FFXI is the biggest space hogger.. and well alot of people seem to own the 360 version of FFXI now..

Hopefull by March someone will figure out how to put your backups on the Hardrive like original xbox. Then it would be worth it.

they already sell adapters for transfering your stuff off your hard drive and putting it on your PC and back to the 360 when needed
