X-360 Hdd Addition To Core

Ok I have a few extra Hdd's 7200rpm: 120gb & 10,000 rpm: 150gb......  Ok I have Sata cables, pin power cables (the whole 9 needed for a hdd)    But i dont want to spend 100 bucks for a goofy 5400rpm hdd and a little plastic casing for it..... way to exspensive and dont wanna waste money on a hdd i am goin to replace anyway...

Im wondering if i can just use the HDD's i have for my core system without buying that, waste of money, Xbox 20gb hdd.........  What wires would i need? Is there a tutorial on it? etc.....
