102 Error Being Caused By Ac Or Cold Temps?
« on: October 02, 2006, 08:59:00 PM »

I found this to be very logical to a certain point...

I think this happens when the air condicioning is on. When you play an xbox it gets really hot then you turn it off and it cools down, and when really cold air comes  it cracks your solder because of the temp change. I did a basic test In my room which is really hot I turned it on 3red lights. I leave it on for like 10 mins reboot, then I can play for hours!

Please post your thoughts

If you solder is cracking you would never be able to play for hours.

If you get 3rol then reboot and can play for hours you have larger problems. If you are under warranty or extended from ms send it in.

If you are out of warranty change the thermal compound on the cpu/gpu add wisper fans and have a good day.
