360 Don't Read Any Disc. Help.
« on: October 02, 2006, 02:14:00 AM »

My Xbox 360 simply doesn't recognize any disc: game, movie, nothing.

I didn't ever even open the console and game disc don't sound like it usually does by spinning fast and loud.

It says "reading" on dashboard and after a while says "open tray" again.

Any clue what can it be?

Yes they did.  You should be good if you call 1-800-4MY-XBOX

I called them and they'll send a box and repair/replace it for free.

Box should arrive within 4 business days and after box is back in UPS hands I should receive my console back or a replacement within 2 weeks.

Will be arround 3 weeks total.

MS said my warranty will be good till december 06. The console was purchased 11/22/05, so, good job on extending the warranty!

Like I always said, this kind of electronics should have AT LEAST 1 year warranty. See my case:11 months ok and then BOOOM! HEADSHOT!

Funny thing is not 3RL....
