Power Supply Question..

I have two 360 consoles; one is a launch system while the other was purchased about a week ago. The power supply that came with the launch system uses three prongs while the newer one uses only two.

Since I only have one 360 hooked up at a time (for the time being), does it matter which power supply I use? Also, why did Microsoft decide to come out with a "different" power supply?

never keep all your eggs in one basket.. if one supplier is running late find a second.


either power supply will work...

it was something to do with a feedback loop for surround sound or something i think. eaither it makes things easier because we can now use a standard figure 8 power cable
