Budget Cpu Compound V's Stock
« on: September 29, 2006, 12:25:00 AM »

i just got my replacement core system and i have all the kit to mod it this weekend.

only thing i couldnt get my hands on is AS5.

i do however have some budget compound 5% silver. how do you think this compares to the stock stuff, is it worth the hassle upgrading if im only going to use the poverty compound ?

i have got an intercooler (should have just done the 12v mod after searching) and i wana cut an intake window 70mm into the side and install a AMDx64 CPU fan to that. should i hook that up to the 12v or 5v the stock fans are already using ?

after frying a 360 already, im paranoid about overheating.

IMHO, if it ain't AS5, it ain't worth the trouble.
