I recently updated my TS-H943a from xecuter 3.0 to 3.3, now for some reason my drive will only play a select few backups while the others (which I know work because I have played them may times before) it just begins to boot then says unrecognized disk, disk is unreadable. I use verbatim DL on a Pioneer 111d on colnCD 1x speed for backups. I reflashed with earlier FW versions with the same result, the backups begin to boot then the side bar comes out and says unrecognized disk, but all original games work fine without any problem. I got ahold of another Toshiba TS-H943a m25 from and flashed it with xecuter 3.3 firmware using my orig.bin and the drive works fine. I need to give that drive back to my friend (I was just testing it to see if my flash was bad, so it is not) does that mean there is something wrong with my TS-H943a? Its been working like a charm since june, Could it be a laser problem, do i need to clean the lens? any suggestions to get my drive to recognize the discs again? On the disks that work the drive is spinning at a pretty good rate to where i can hear it, on the backups that get the pop up screen the disc starts off fast then slows to where I cant hear it, could this be a speed issue? Any help would be great.
