I really need ALOT OF help , my dvd drive wont open..


This is how it started!


I installed a spindal and put my case bck togeather but i noticed when i would open my 360 dvd drive it woulednt open so i disesembled EVERYTHING and then tried again same thing..Id get what is wrong with it..


Can anyone help me?  it sounds like its getting stock but its not, even when i pull it out of the metal sheiling the same thing happens..heres a vid:

The tray is off track. The video shows the spindle drop, so that atleast means the drive motor is working. Just remove the tray and realign it with the tabs. If you dont know what I mean, then just look at the bottom of the tray, you will see where the tab should go. You may have to bend the tray like an arch to get it out.

here arfe some pics could u circle it maybe? Cuz idk whats wrong i just was told it was the dvd boerd or w/e idk im so confused!

I am talking about the BIG grey piece of plastic that discs sit on. It has to be removed and realigned. Once you get it out, look at the bottom of it and you will see the grove that the tab rides on. It is going to take some force to get that tray out, but try not to break it.
