Team Xecuter is filling a need. They're making it easy for folks who don't spend every waking hour reading Xbox-Scene. Just like their previous products. And they're improving them constantly. I'm not an Xecuter fanboy by any stretch, but I applaud their efforts.
The little things are being nitpicked because they have set expectations very high due to their success with the Xbox1 modchips and X2/X3 BIOS.
I don't have any Team-Xecuter products, but I agree with "Buy it and know it works." Makes sense, rather than tracking down such-and-such a PCI card or USB->SATA adapter.
To Team Xecuter, water off a duck's back. Take the criticism and ignore the blatant whining, but don't discount the complaints... use it to make your products better!
Cheers,

Exactly, they're target market is basically "noobs". I'm not necessarily saying if you buy one of these you're a noob, but I am saying I have yet to see a product that the more veteran people of the Xbox scene have NEEDED. Everything has been a convenience thing where somebody was too lazy or too stupid to do it the first way, the cheaper way. Instead they go the easy way out and get a "plug and play." To me, it's like Xecuter now has the opposite strategy of what it had with Xbox 1.
Softmod - easy, plug and play, no hassle. Xecuter made chips.
Xbox 360 - Xecuter opts for the easy plug and play stuff
I'm not a noob, so I don't buy their stuff. I'm not knocking what their doing business-wise because if you can market a product to people who are stupid, lazy, ignorant, or don't care about money, then you just passed Business 101 in flying colors.
This comment scares me:

For those saying why bother with this I should be working on a "real" hack. Well I might be and I might not be. The fact is I dont have to - if I choose to then thats mny choice - i owe nothing to anyone.
This, to me, shows the evolution of Xecuter. What started as a hacktastic team full of talent with top-notch hacking talent and kernel perfection has shifted priorities. Exactly as I stated before, the entire "scene" cares more about these firmware hacks and piracy than they do about homebrew. It's sad. Homebrew should be everybody's top priority.
