when i turn on my 360 the middle led blinks green then 1 and 2 leds start to blink red. the fans shut off and it doesnt turn off till i hold the button down

what is the error? and what do i do to cure it?

God Damnit know when i turn it on it does the over heating one the 3 red leds ring of death... yeah yeah know what!? i am starting to get pissed becasue all of my solders are perfect and there is nothing that looks like it is messed up!

i just want to know if this happened to anybody out there and what they did about it

if there is such an easy fix some body would have replied. obviously there ISNT one... no matter what your intent is anger at people on any forum is going to get you nowhere, very quick!

i am not angry i am fursteraited. i know this has happened to someone befor and M$ wouldnt of made those error lights for the hell of it. would they?

Yes, this is a pretty common problem. The fix is silly but it works. The orientation switch is known to cause these problems. When you turn your console, simply give it a good slap. (this is no joke) Make sure it's powered down so you don't scratch a disk or hurt your hdd, but give it a good wrap and it should come right on with no problems. If you do not believe me, read the posts from around launch date. The orientation switch messes up and it probably responsible for many of these errors where people are using hot air to "fix" their boards.

Three things:

One: What is the error code the three red lights give you?

Two: Maybe you should undo some of your solder connections (like, take off the lights temporarily).

3. they make me write enough in school and i suck at spelling you can read what i am saying cant you? great thats really all that matters. oh and i am used to writing in word and stuff and they capalized and fix my grammer automaticly

do the heat gun trick, put AS5 on it and put your fans on the 12v line.

My xbox was fucked but now it works!!
