If these blow inward that would be retarded.  They definitely blow out considering on close inspection of the fans the labels are shown which mean that the air flow is OUT.

and what's the point of just sticking another fan on the back of the console?  i guess just so it doesn't block the holes in the back with its ugliness.  i doubt it will actually bring down the temps at all

If the fan on the back is more powerful/has more CFM, then it is worth putting on.  Generally, increased airflow can only help.

Besides, I'm sold on this thing.  I want one.  My area is set up that having the cables come out of the 360, instead of the plugs on the VGA end of the cable, would be much better

YEs i agree, use your head.

the black under the usb ports, is network, my other post i didnt look that closely, the power i think is on the side

hmmm wonder how far that beast will stick out the back, i bet it will look quite ugly, but nice product

I never really look at the back of my 360 anyways. I don't know about you but I have mine always facing forward  laugh.gif

I think it's a neet concept if you dont have the intercooler and are looking to get a VGA adapter and intercooler also. Makes it a nice all in one. smile.gif

And... yet another accessory I have absolutely no interest in getting.

I would much rather buy a USB hub and a couple sets of cables. This is really not going to be all that great. And who knows what problems it could cause... everyone thought the intercooler was super awesome... until it started melting to 360s, drawing so much power the USB ports died, and people found out it voided their warranty.

Anyways, if people want this, more power to them... I just think it's a really horrible idea that will fail miserably.

I don't know what you mean by the Intercooler melting 360 consoles but I have yet to read about that or see it happen. I've had my Intercooler for 4 months now and it works perfect.

if this means I can have the 360 output to a vga monitor or via component via the flick of the switch depending if I'm sat at my computer or playing on the couch without plugging and unplugging cables thens it's a god-send

Ok so here's a question... may be dumb so don't flame.

This looks like the Component video is an input not an output. First question is where would the xbox av cable go? Second is if you plug in cables to this will you still need an AV cable?

It looks really sexy, although I don't even use the 2 usb ports in the front. I just don't know about all the outputs.

Anyway it looks sexy, i have an intercooler so I think i'm going to hold off. I may just wait a bit to see how people like it when it hits the streets and the price drops a little bit.

I was tempted to get this, although I suspect my intercooler has had something to do with the E68 errors I've had recently, so I hope this doesn't  have the same effect. Anyway, I fired off an email or two the company making it and got - shock horror - an actual reply, not some crappy auto-response.

Essentially, the fans do indeed take power from the USB, and the optical cable input gets power from the multi AV port.

There are apparently two fans. And it does support Scart RGB - which is as good a picture as you're going to get in the UK on a standard TV.

Well...what can I say. I received this device from Play.com today and installed it.

WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP!!!

Once installed (if you can actually do it without breaking something!!) you cannot get HDTV output from the component connections >?? WTF!! I thought the whole concept of this thing was to give you full output ? No matter what i put the switches to on the back , made zero difference. once you power on the xbox360 and go into Display settings, it says HDTV is disabled ???

What a load of rubbish...and im not convinced either that it expells more hot air....

...my advice...give this a miss. Im going back to my old Intercooler, it fits better (but is noisier).

The faults I found on the Cooler King.

1. difficult to attach - you have to twist it on the connections to get it to go on !!
2. there are no clips to hold this thing in place , can fall off relatively easy !!
3. NO HDTV once connected, you only get PAL 50 or 60 from the Component connections.

... this is going straight on Ebay!

It is nice, but does not provide me with anything that I need over the Intercooler I own.
F*** the intercooler,, very attractive, i almost got me one, but waited for a better product to come along.
This one looks better !
Can't the wireless network adaptor (lag!, i'll probably sell it) just connect to one of the USB ports?
(It'll probable hang out somewhere, but seriously (b'sides silver users), who cares anyway?

Techie question,, will this add-on solution cool the 360 better? Because this is added (after/behind) additional to the original fans ?

I'm not gonna get it. (i was 2morrowmorning, it looked beter than the intercooler) Waiting for a better product............ No HDTV output?
F*** it, please disregard my previous post.

(will M$ release something like this in the future? THEY SHOULD !!!!!!! , but just won't i guess.
But  hey, as long as you sell 10M units in a year (including replacements !!!) ,, you're on the safe side !
Class action here ?

(warranty should be extended till 2009 (cooler replacement 360's (maybe)
