Dvd Drive Connection

im trying to hook up the 360 dvd drive to my pc but the sata cable is a different  shape? how do i go about hooking it up. ive heard pci card would work? please shed alot of light on this issue ive gotton everything done but im stuck at this point.

Umm...we need more info.

The SATA cable should be just fine for hooking it up, unless you don't have a SATA spot at all, and got confused between SATA and PATA (in which case I would advise you to step away from the xbox...slowly).  If that's not the case, then I dunno.

On second thought, you might have a better time asking about this in the DVD Drive forum

thanks for the reply. this cable has  10 wires and two white clips one on each end. i dont see where i could hook this to my pc at? its a TS-h943 dvd drive i have a asus p4800d-x mobo in my pc. please help

the wire coming off my xbox drive is ATA

Searching for asus p4800d-x didn't turn up anything, but P4S800D-X did

Here's a picture of it.
