today i put on my xbox360 and i see the colors are not correct:-s

something dark purple and green screen colors in xbox360dashboard and even the games are
something dark purple and green

even backup games and original

is there something overheathing?

the tv itself is ok, i can wath normally tv with it

and the xbox does not give any errors ore led problems

does anyone have / had the same problem?

help and thanks

If you are using component cables, make sure the red cable is plugged in all the way. If you are sure EVERYTHING is plugged in all the way, then you are probably experiencing gpu overheating. If you have a warranty send it back. If you have your receipt, take it back to the store. If you're like the rest of us, increase the efficiency of the cooling solution.

Also check to ensure that the component cables are plugged into the correct colors, if you have them reversed then you will get odd colors.

so i can fix this myself by putting some cooling on it or replace the original cooling wiot better ones?

my xbox360 is flashed so i cant go to the store wit it :-s

yesterday it din't had this problem and today it does :-s

unplug and plug back in all of your video cables, on the 360 and the tv, if you let it sit for a few hrs and cool down and it displays the odd colors even when the sytem is cold, better cooling isnt going to help you, something is cooked or broken

I would try a different input on your TV as well.

It really sounds like a display / cable problem... not something with the console itself.

Try the composite connector, if the display results are the same then it can't be the cable because composite sents all data down a single wire.
