lo peeps, need some help here, I have searched and I cant find any relative info to my problem. I flashed a friends Samsung drive a few weeks ago, and he has been using it fine on live, and with his games. He brought back to me the other day and the machine turns on but has no picture output. Also the power light just flicks on and off. The machine is dated Feb 2006 if that helps.

Im not getting any red error signals at all. The wireless controllers sync up, but they dont get assigned to a particular player, after syncing up they just keep flashing looking for the xbox. I have also booted the box up without the video lead and I get the red lights up, so I would presume the error checking procedure is working.

Apart from this, there isnt anything more I can tell you. I have tried different leads. I am wondering if anyone can suggest some other things to try before we scrap the board.

EDIT: Just realised I had the DVD Drive Disconnected and that was causing the power light to flash, so now I have same problems but the power light is constantly on instead. (doh! it has been a few days since I took apart (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif))

On another note, my friend has a spare 360 with an unmodified Hitachi Drive, (I darent try that reading all horror stories) Can he use this Samsung Drive in that, will there be any problem? are the drives paired in any way? Would I need to get the key from the hitachi to put on samsung? BTW im being lazy i havent searched on this yet, just hijacking my current thread (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
