Crazy Ass Green Squares

I have had my baby since launch date...Never have i had a problem until today...

When I play her for about 3 minutes....she gets all choked up and green squares appear all over and it freezes and screaches...

I think she is sick...maybe even infected...

PLZ,,,,has anyone cured this disease? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I hate to tell you, but it sounds like your console is on the way out. Mine died this weekend, so I feel your pain. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

yeah I too suspect overheating, if its out of warranty (as I suspect) I'd say it would be worth it to open it and replace the thermal compound with Arctic Silver 5 (after thoroughly cleaning off the old stuff)

Sounds like a classic GPU overheating to me.

The above should help you solve your problem.

dunno how to...but i opened it,,,and to my demise it doesnt start up into the x anymore....str8 to 3 red lights....i got pics still...poor love...
