Xbox 360 Wireless Controller
« on: August 14, 2006, 08:46:00 AM »

I've been having issues with my wireless controller, I just put the batteries in it about a week ago, and when playing every other hour it will start flashing the lights in a circle on the controller then shut the controller off. I hold the button for the controller to turn back on, a few minutes later it does it again... Eventually it stops fucking up but its annoying.

umm, no offense, but are those batteries dead?
the lights spin and the controller shuts off when they are out of juice: what youve described is EXACTLY what happens to mine when they die (and a week is do-able)
when mine run out, if i turn them back on occassionally they run for quite a bit longer.
just a thought (that im sure youve had, but you don't say (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) )
does the problem happen with decent new batteries?

It happend with the batteries that came with it (I suppose they were brand new, but you never know with MS..lol)

I would rather just have a Wired Controller.. I just dont have one... They come with core and I have the platinum.. and I dont have the money to get a wired one.

I'll try some different batteries.
