Does the USB adapter allow you the recover a bad flash on a Hitachi drive without needing to taking the drive apart?

If it does, it's well worth the money, other wise its crap.

Im new to the scene. Could someone please explain what the X360 USB will do. Does it store copies of firmware? Does it connect your DVD drive to it and then flash?

Personally, I like to tinker. I would love to get involved in such a project. Screw the haters, this isn't a cheesy attempt to make money (though I'm sure a little will get made). It is a very smart business move, very aggressive. The other chip guys will be forced to sell cheap, or be left holding their junk.

Yeah it doesn't say anything about this USB adapter. Whats confusing me is, the 360 has USB as well, but im guessing this is some kind of bootable device for the PC that will just run everything automatically??

And yeah, enough with the dvd-firmware mods, i am so over it. Focus on something good, like homebrew and an actual modchip (NOT for the dvd-drive ffs)

Team Xecuter seems to have completely abandoned the X3 chip line....no new bios in, what, 7+ months??

The USB adapter simply allows you to play with the firmware using a USB connection. That way you don't need a SATA connection on your PC. You still need to open the 360. It has nothing to do with the USB ports on the 360.
