Xbox Memory Heating Problem ?

hi ya guys need some info i am getting this problem with my 360 any way of helping me solve this problem

You could try applying heatsinks to the RAM with some artic silver 5. And as always make sure it's in a ventilated area.

Also if you still have your warranty then you could always fall back onto that, unless of course you opened it.

Im just curious, what is the manufacturedate of your 360? The consoles made from march onwards mostly have small heat transfer pads on the RAM chips on the underside of the motherboard. Its most likeley if your 360 doesnt have them, thatll be your overheating memory. When you think about it, those chips have NO cooling whatsoever whereas the RAM chips on the top side of the board have some airflow on them.

But if you still have your warranty, DONT open your 360 cause its probable that you wont be able to fix it, and its far better to have M$ replace it. Otherwise, go ahead and see if you can cool the memory chips somehow.
